Stepping into Tai Kwun, the compound’s stories slowly unfold along 16 historic buildings. Taking visitors on a time-travelling tour across eight rich Heritage Storytelling Spaces, our docents become storytellers eager to narrate in their own words the fascinating episodes and unusual anecdotes of Tai Kwun. Join our storytellers on this journey through history and discover the essence of Tai Kwun in 5 episodes.
Episode 5: Reshaping the Memory of D Hall
In the final episode, we will be taking a glimpse of the site’s open space – the Prison Yard. Look for the marks that represent the foundation of the old radial-plan prison block, examine the details of Boundary Wall and find out why a green door is now named the “Blue Gate”.

走進大館，依山而建的建築物像立體故事書般一層又一層地展開。十六座古蹟建築是歷史的載體，蘊含著種種關於人和建築的故事。活化後的大館，以八個歷史故事空間把過去的歲月帶到現在，而為訪客介紹歷史的導賞員，則擔起說書人的角色，各以不同風格把故事傳遞。就讓這些說書人與你「邊走邊說」，一連五集穿梭建築群，發掘和透視大館故事。
