Physical activity is important for the development of physical and mental well-being in children and youth. World Health Organization recommends that children and youth should do at least 60 minutes of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity daily.
However, evidence shows that children and youth with disabilities are insufficiently active to achieve health benefits.
We strongly believe that they should have more opportunities to participate in physical activity regardless of age, sex, disability type and ability in order to facilitate their physical and psychosocial health as well as to improve their quality of life.
We provide professional development by organizing seminars and workshops that focus on integration of theory and practice in adapted physical activity. We also providing consultation on special/adapted physical education curriculum and guidelines by professionals and experts in adapted physical activity.
